The Midwest Landscape Initiative has completed the first phase of the Midwest Regional Species of Greatest Conservation Need project.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO — Sara Parker Pauley, director of the Missouri Department of Conservation, has been named co-chair of the Midwest Landscape Initiative steering committee, joining Craig Czarnecki of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The Midwest Landscape Initiative released Nov. 1 a mobile-friendly website designed to be a resource for collaborators and partners across a 13-state region working on at-risk species and habitat conservation issues.
